GunMag Warehouse allows returns within 60 days of purchase, provided items are in original packaging and unused. You will pay return shipping costs, and a 20% restocking fee applies to most returns.
How returns work
You can return items either by mail or in person at a GunMag Warehouse location. To begin a mail return, obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number by email or phone, then ship the item within 60 days of purchase using a carrier of your choice. The retailer recommends tracking and insurance. For in-person returns, you may bring the item directly to a store location.
Exclusions and restrictions
Ammunition cannot be returned for safety and legal reasons. Items that are opened, altered, worn, washed, or have broken seals are subject to a discretionary restocking fee or may be rejected. Clothing must be new, unworn, and unwashed with tags attached. Refunds over $800 are subject to a 10% restocking fee. The retailer does not state whether used, undamaged items in their original condition are fully returnable.
Refunds
Refunds are issued to your original payment method or as store credit within 2 to 5 business days of inspection. If you paid by credit card, the refund goes back to that card only. If your original card has been deactivated, you will receive store credit instead. A 20% restocking fee is deducted from most returns, and you pay return shipping costs (a $6.95 label fee may apply if the item has been tested).
Frequently asked questions
How long do I have to return something?
You have 60 days from purchase to return an item. You must obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number before shipping, and the item must arrive within that 60-day window.
Do I have to pay for return shipping?
Yes. You choose the carrier and pay all return shipping costs. If the item has been tested or opened, a $6.95 return label fee may also apply.
Can I return ammunition?
No. Ammunition is not returnable for safety considerations and legal and regulatory reasons.
What if the item arrives damaged or doesn't work?
GunMag Warehouse will inspect and test defective items. If the item is found to be functional after testing, a 20% restocking fee and $6.95 label fee will be applied. For warranty coverage, you should contact the manufacturer directly.
Will I lose money on the restocking fee?
A 20% restocking fee is deducted from your refund for most returns. Refunds over $800 are subject to a 10% restocking fee instead. The final refund amount is credited after the fee is applied.
Can I return items in person instead of by mail?
Yes. You can return items in person at a GunMag Warehouse location. You still need to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number before returning the item.
What condition must items be in to be returnable?
Items must be in original packaging with all packaging, manuals, instructions, and accessories included. Opened or altered products, or items with broken seals, are subject to a restocking fee or rejection. Clothing must be new, unworn, unwashed, and have tags attached.
