Hot Topic allows returns within 30 days of purchase to any store location or by mail. You may choose a refund to your original payment method or receive a gift card instead. Return shipping to Hot Topic is at your expense.
How returns work
You can return items in store at any Hot Topic location with your receipt, or by mail to 6001 Reliance Drive, La Vergne, TN 37086 at your own cost. Before returning, verify that your item is not on the non-returnable list. Pack your return securely in its original packaging if possible and include a completed return form with your shipment.
Exclusions and restrictions
Hot Topic marks many categories as final sale and non-returnable, including beauty products, body jewelry, candy and consumables, clearance items, blind merchandise, Funko figures with chase variants, gift cards, Halloween costumes, intimates, unopened vinyl records and CDs, and fashion masks. Electronics are final sale if opened. Swimwear and certain other items are non-returnable if worn or if tags are removed. Bulk purchases (more than four bags or five of any other item) are also final sale. Defective merchandise may be returned within 90 days of purchase.
Refunds
Refunds are processed within up to 2 weeks, then an additional 7 business days are allowed for the credit to appear in your account or on your card. You may receive your refund to your original form of payment or as a gift card credit. If you have no receipt or the return is beyond 30 days, Hot Topic will issue a gift card instead.
