This page describes what happens to data when you read WikiReturnPolicy.com. It describes what the site actually does today, not a template of what such a site might do.

The short version
You can read every page here without giving us anything. There are no accounts, no login for readers, no newsletter, no comments, and no forms that collect personal details. We do not sell data, because we do not gather any that would be worth selling.
What the server records
Like any web server, ours writes a log entry for each request: the IP address, the time, the page requested, the referring page if the browser sends one, and the browser identification string. These logs exist to keep the site running and to investigate abuse such as scraping or attacks. They are not used to build a profile of you, and they are not combined with anything else.
Cookies
Reading the site sets no cookies from us. Cookies are set only when someone signs in to administer the site, and those are used purely to keep that session open.
Links to retailers
Some links to retailers are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy something after following one. Those links pass through a redirect on this site and then through an affiliate network before reaching the retailer. The network records that the click happened so that a commission can be attributed, and it may set its own cookie in your browser at that point.
That processing is the affiliate network’s and the retailer’s, not ours, and it is governed by their own privacy policies. We do not receive your name, your address, your payment details, or the contents of your order. What we see is aggregate reporting: how many clicks and how many sales, with no identity attached.
If you would rather not take part, do not use the shop links. Every retailer named here can be reached directly, and the policy information on the page is identical either way.
Advertising
The site does not currently display advertising. If that changes, an advertising network will be able to set cookies and read your IP address in order to select and measure advertisements, and this page will be updated to name the network before any advertisement appears.
Analytics
No analytics or tracking script is installed at the date shown above. If one is added, this page will name it.
If you write to us, whether to report a correction or for anything else, we keep the message and your address for as long as it takes to deal with it and to keep a record of the correction. We do not add you to any mailing list.
Children
This site is a reference for shoppers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what data an operator holds about you, and to have it deleted. In our case the honest answer is that we hold no account, no profile and no contact record for a reader who has only read pages. If you have written to us and want that correspondence deleted, ask and we will delete it.
Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. We do not make quiet edits to it.
