How we verify

Updated August 17, 2026

Every figure on this site is taken from the return policy the retailer publishes itself. We do not write from memory, and we do not copy from other websites.

How a page is built

We locate the retailer’s own return policy page, read it, and pull out the figures a shopper needs: the return window, whether return shipping is free, whether a receipt is required, how refunds are issued, and what is excluded.

For every figure we store the exact sentence it came from. If that sentence cannot be found in the retailer page, the figure is discarded rather than published. Where the retailer does not state something, the page says Not specified instead of filling the gap with a guess.

What we do not do

We do not test return processes, contact customer service, or place orders. Describing the site as doing any of that would be untrue. Our work is reading published policy and quoting it accurately.

Dates and changes

Each page shows the date we last checked it against the retailer page. We re-check pages on a schedule, and when a retailer changes its terms we record what changed and when, so you can see the history rather than just the current state.

When we are wrong

Policies change without notice and pages can fall out of date between checks. If you find a figure that does not match what the retailer currently publishes, tell us on the corrections page and we will re-check it.
